Lyon County - Current Employment Opportunities Veterans Service Officer The purpose of this position is to oversee the day-to-day activities of the Veteran Services Department. Duties include, but are not limited to: working with veterans, maintaining databases; preparing budgets; maintaining confidential files; and performing additional tasks as assigned by the County Administrator. An employee in this position is responsible for the performance of all aspects of this job.
